    Vikarabad district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. Vikarabad is the headquarters of the district..The district shares boundaries with Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Narayanpet, Rangareddy districts and the state boundary of Karnataka.

    Vikarabad, the historic town of the former nobels founded and named after the fifth Paigah Amir (Premier Nobel) was formerly a private hunting ground of the royals. Sir Viqar’s jagir Vikarabd, Dharur and Ananthagiri hills were known as the mini hill stations of the Deccan.

    One of the temples called the Sri Anantha Padmanabha Swamy temple is located in the beautiful hilly region of the Ananthagiri hills in Vikarabad district of Telangana, India.

    The Vikarabad is newly carved Judicial District by the Hon’ble High Court for the State of Telangana on 02-06-2022 consisting Two District Courts, One Senior Civil Judges Court, Two Junior Civil Judges Courts at Vikarabad Head Quarters and Three Junior Civil Judges Courts functioning in three locations one at Parigi, Tandur and Kodangal.
